A New Year's Message

Volume 23 | Sending my gratitude

Hi Everyone,

As we enter the new year of 2025, I want to take this time to express my gratitude to all those who have supported my newsletter and School during this past year. To all the subscribers, I truly appreciate your continued support and encouragement, including those who take the time to write comments. These comments help me understand what readers desire to hear more about, as well as what they don’t.

My approach to teaching astrology is to have small classes so that not only do students learn from me, but also from each other. At this time, I want to thank them for engaging so fully during each class, as this enhances and accelerates the learning in many ways, some of which are subtle but, over time, build a momentum that makes learning astrology transformational.

To Carol Pilkington, who works tirelessly behind the scenes supporting me and my students, handling questions, and addressing every administrative need I can think of. In addition, her support extends beyond the astrology classes to include the meditation groups I hold, which are very much a part of the School. Beyond these things, I am very grateful for her emotional support when I face life’s inevitable challenges and uncertainties.

And to my partner, editor, and occasional writer, Olivia Martinez. Our daily discussions always stimulate my thinking process, as her observations and insights make me more aware of topics I have presented or might choose to present. Her feedback enables me to explore ideas I doubt I would ever have thought about on my own. Her insights are invaluable to my work, for which I am very grateful. Above all of these things is her love and daily kindness, without which I could not do all that I do.

Finally, to my daughter, Renee Sher-McMeans, I am extremely grateful for having her in my life ever since she was born. Her creativity and willingness to grow each and every day are inspirational to me. I have seen her deal with life’s challenges in ways only a father can see, causing me to be so very proud of her.

Again, thank you all for your support and kindness.

Wishing you a very Happy New Year full of joy and happy struggles too.
